Q. Where is the conference located this year?
A. We are excited to have The Ohio State University serve as our host this year. We will be in the north campus conference center.
Q. Is the conference really free?
A. Yes! Thanks to our sponsors, the conference registration is free and includes a buffet breakfast and lunch as well as beverages throughout. All materials, including handouts, are included at no cost to you.
Hotel, travel, and parking are not included.
Q. Will there be time to talk to other attendees and presenters?
A. Yes! There are several opportunities to engage with other attendees including breakfast, lunch, and after the conference. Presenters try to make themselves available after their sessions as well.
Q. How many of my board members should attend?
A. As many as possible! There are topics that cover every aspect of chapter housing and to ensure that you get the most out of the conference, we encourage you to send enough members so you have an attendee in all the sessions and then compare notes and share with the rest of your volunteers.
Q. Is this a sales pitch?
A. No. While all of the presenters, vendors, and sponsors would like to earn your business, this conference is designed to provide you with the tools and information to be able to do it on your own if you so choose.
Q. What time will it end?
A. The conference should be concluded by 4:00 p.m. Attendees are welcome to leave at their convenience throughout the day or stay as long as they wish to discuss items with other attendees and/or presenters.
